ASEAN Literary Festival 2015
Mary Farrow is an American writer and activist who currently lives in Australia. She is the director of the Centre of Resilience, Emerald Community House in Victoria, Australia. The organization aims to create and promote practical community based resilience building initiatives , resources and partnerships that engage community participants, businesses, organizations and governments.
She is now actively campaigning to demolish the death penalty. Her articles and writings have been published in various media and journals in Australia and Indonesia. She will be speaking at two sessions: “Literary Works and Government” and also “Literatures and the Fight for Equality and Justice” Mar 22, 2015 at the Jakarta Art Center, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Cikini, Central Jakarta.
