It’s lovely to hear the pitter patter of rain on the tin roof! More showers expected overnight. Strong winds predicted and stallholders are reminded to take extra care. A fine and sunny afternoon and a total fire ban with a Severe fire danger, temps only in the mid 20s and humidity over 30%. Dress for a typical 4 seasons in one day.
At this stage we will go ahead with the market. Though it has been declared a day of total fire ban, the temp is only expected to reach 26C. There is a high chance of showers in the morning, clearing to a fine afternoon. There’s also the possibility of a thunderstorm and winds up to 60kph. Please protect yourself, the public and your merchandise by taking extra measures to tie down and weight gazebos and items.

Emerald Community House normally runs the Emerald Market on the 3rd Sunday of every month from 9am – 3pm all year round. This year, the April 2018 monthly market will be held at the end of PAVE festival – April 15th 2018 and will begin at 9am and conclude at 3pm.
The Emerald Market is vibrant and colourful featuring locally made products and home grown produce right in the centre of town. Visitors can expect a variety of goods including preserves, cakes, hot food stalls, local specialties, vegetables and plants, jewellery, clothing, food, lifestyle products and massage. Our market is plastic bag free, so don’t forget to bring along your own bags.

General stall holder’s information
Stallholders are required to supply appropriate tables, chairs, display stands and shelter. All sites are 3 x 3 metres. All food stallholders are required to contact the Cardinia Shire Council to obtain all necessary food notifications or permits. “food is defined as any item that is consumed by mouth”
